Why It Matters

Education Designed Around Your Stage of Life

Grounded in Malaysian Systems

Every example draws from EPF, CCRIS, CTOS, and local bond markets β€” not generic foreign content repurposed for a Malaysian audience.

Small Cohort Format

Sessions are kept small so every participant has room to ask questions and work through personal scenarios without feeling rushed.

No Prior Knowledge Needed

Programmes start from a comfortable baseline. You are invited to come as you are β€” whether you have some financial background or none at all.

Practical Take-Home Materials

Each programme includes worksheets, checklists, and reference materials you can use independently long after sessions conclude.

Respectful of Your Experience

The tone throughout every session acknowledges the financial journey you have already lived β€” building on it rather than dismissing it.

All programme fees are stated upfront. There are no hidden costs, upselling pressure, or unexpected extras during or after the programme.

Questions Welcome

Things People Often Ask

Do I need any prior financial knowledge to attend?
No prior knowledge is needed. Each programme is designed to begin from a comfortable starting point. Whether you have some familiarity with financial concepts or are encountering them for the first time, sessions are structured so that the material builds logically and at a pace that respects every participant.
How are sessions conducted?
Sessions take place in small groups at our Kuala Lumpur centre near KLCC, creating a calm and focused environment. Cohort sizes are kept deliberately small so there is room for individual questions, personal scenarios, and open discussion rather than a lecture-only format.
Can I attend if I am already retired?
Yes, certainly. While the Pre-Retirement Comprehensive Programme is shaped for those approaching retirement, the Credit Score and Fixed Income programmes are relevant at any stage. Many retired participants find the bond and fixed income course particularly valuable for managing EPF withdrawals and building a steady income portfolio.
Which programme should I begin with?
It depends on what is most pressing for you at this moment. If you are within 10 years of retirement, the Pre-Retirement Comprehensive Programme tends to address the most immediate planning needs. If you have questions about your borrowing capacity or credit record, the Credit Score Briefing is a focused single-session option. If you are interested in understanding Malaysian bonds and sukuk, the Fixed Income course is the right place to start. Contact us and we will be glad to help you choose.
What happens after I complete a programme?
You leave with all course materials and any worksheets or checklists from the programme. The Pre-Retirement Programme includes quarterly reviews for one full year following completion. For other programmes, our team remains available for follow-up questions by email or phone.
Is my personal information kept confidential?
Yes. Any personal financial details you share during sessions β€” whether about your EPF balance, credit record, or investment situation β€” are treated with complete discretion. We do not share or distribute participant information. Our Privacy Policy outlines our full data handling approach.
How many participants are in each session?
We keep cohorts small β€” typically between six and twelve participants. This allows for a more personal dynamic, time for individual questions, and the kind of thoughtful discussion that benefits everyone in the room.
What makes Ilmu Vault different from other financial courses?
Our programmes are specifically shaped around the needs and questions of people in their 40s, 50s, and 60s β€” not repurposed content from generic investment courses. We use real Malaysian data, reference the actual systems participants interact with (CTOS, CCRIS, EPF, Bursa), and take time to address the personal concerns that are often left unanswered in larger seminar formats.
