Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Ilmu Vault website at ilmuvault and your participation in any educational programme we offer. By accessing our website or registering for a programme, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these terms.
1. Definitions
- "Ilmu Vault" / "We" / "Us" — refers to Ilmu Vault, a financial education provider registered in Malaysia, operating from 6 Persiaran KLCC, 50088 Kuala Lumpur.
- "You" / "User" / "Participant" — refers to any individual who accesses our website or enrols in one of our programmes.
- "Programme" — refers to any structured educational session, course, briefing, or multi-session series offered by Ilmu Vault.
- "Content" — refers to all materials, presentations, worksheets, manuals, and digital resources provided as part of a programme.
- "Agreement" — refers to these Terms & Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By using this website or enrolling in any Ilmu Vault programme, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement.
- You have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
- If you are accessing the site on behalf of another person or organisation, you have authority to bind that party to these terms.
3. Our Services
Ilmu Vault offers financial education programmes in Malaysia, including but not limited to:
- Credit Score Awareness Briefing — a single-session educational overview of Malaysian credit health.
- Fixed Income and Bond Education Course — a four-session course on fixed-income instruments available in Malaysia.
- Pre-Retirement Comprehensive Programme — a seven-session programme for individuals aged 50–60 preparing for retirement.
All programmes are educational in nature. Nothing presented constitutes financial advice, investment advice, or a solicitation to purchase any financial product.
4. Enrolment and Registration
- Enrolment is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment, unless a written instalment arrangement has been agreed.
- You are responsible for providing accurate contact information at the time of registration.
- Ilmu Vault reserves the right to decline or cancel an enrolment in exceptional circumstances, in which case a full refund will be provided.
- Programme schedules and venues are communicated upon confirmed registration and are subject to reasonable change with prior notice.
5. Fees, Payment, and Refunds

Payment: Fees are payable in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) via bank transfer, online banking, or other methods communicated at the time of registration.
Cancellation by Participant:
- More than 14 days before the programme start: full refund less a 5% administrative fee.
- 7–14 days before start: 50% refund.
- Less than 7 days before start: no refund, but transfer to a future intake is permitted once.
Cancellation by Ilmu Vault: If we cancel a programme, you will receive a full refund within 10 business days, or the option to transfer to an alternative date.
6. Acceptable Use of Website
You agree not to use our website in any manner that:
- Violates any applicable Malaysian law or regulation.
- Is fraudulent, harmful, or misleading to other users or to Ilmu Vault.
- Involves scraping, automated data collection, or interfering with site functionality.
- Attempts to gain unauthorised access to any part of our systems.
7. Intellectual Property
All programme materials, including presentations, workbooks, worksheets, and digital content, are the intellectual property of Ilmu Vault. Upon enrolment, you are granted a personal, non-transferable licence to use these materials for your own educational purposes.
You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from our materials without our written consent. This restriction applies to physical and digital formats.
8. Educational Disclaimer
All content delivered through Ilmu Vault programmes is provided for educational and informational purposes only. It does not constitute:
- Financial advice, investment advice, or a personal recommendation.
- Legal, tax, or insurance advice.
- A solicitation or offer to buy or sell any financial instrument.
Participants are encouraged to seek appropriately licensed professionals for advice tailored to their personal circumstances. Ilmu Vault accepts no responsibility for any financial decisions made based on programme content.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted under Malaysian law, Ilmu Vault's liability to any participant shall be limited to the fee paid for the relevant programme. We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic losses, including but not limited to investment losses, that may arise from participation in our programmes.
This limitation does not exclude liability for personal injury or fraud caused by our negligence.
10. Participant Conduct
We ask all participants to engage respectfully within our learning environment. We reserve the right to remove a participant from a programme, without refund, if their conduct is disruptive, offensive, or harmful to fellow participants or facilitators.
11. Termination
Either party may terminate the enrolment agreement in accordance with the cancellation terms set out in Section 5. Ilmu Vault may suspend or terminate website access without prior notice if we reasonably believe these terms have been breached.
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms shall first be addressed through informal discussion. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be referred to the courts of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, which shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
Malaysian consumer protection rights under the Consumer Protection Act 1999 are not affected by these terms.
13. General Provisions
- Entire Agreement: These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Ilmu Vault with respect to your use of the website and participation in our programmes.
- Severability: If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force.
- No Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
- Assignment: You may not assign your rights under this agreement without our written consent.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may amend these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via our website. Your continued use of the website or participation in programmes after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
