Three Pathways. One Shared Purpose.
Each programme has been built from the ground up to address a specific chapter of financial life in Malaysia — with depth, care, and local context.
Back to HomeHow We Structure Learning at Ilmu Vault
Context First
Every topic begins with the Malaysian context — the relevant regulator, the local instrument, the specific system. No abstraction without grounding.
Mechanics Explained
How things work — credit scores calculated, yields computed, EPF accounts structured — taught at a pace that allows comprehension without overwhelm.
Personal Application
Participants apply what they have learned to their own situation using the worksheets and guided exercises included in each programme.
Credit Score Awareness Briefing
A focused single-session briefing designed for anyone who wants to understand how credit scoring actually works in Malaysia. The session covers how CTOS and CCRIS records are built and maintained, the factors that raise or lower scores, how to obtain and read your own reports, and the process for disputing inaccuracies — a more common situation than many participants expect.
This briefing is suitable for individuals planning to apply for financing, those who have recently encountered unexpected credit issues, or anyone who simply wants to understand where they stand. No prior knowledge of credit systems is required.

Fixed Income & Bond Education Course
A four-session course explaining the fixed-income instruments available to Malaysian retail investors. The course covers government bonds, corporate sukuk, bond unit trusts, and money market funds — explaining how each works, how returns are generated, and where they fit in a balanced portfolio at different life stages.
All sessions use real Malaysian bond market data for illustration. The course is structured so that participants build their understanding progressively — from the basic mechanics of a bond to practical questions about yield, credit risk, and interest rate sensitivity in the current Bank Negara environment.
What This Course Covers
- How bonds and sukuk work — structure, issuers, and return mechanics
- Malaysian Government Securities (MGS) and Government Investment Issues (GII)
- Corporate sukuk — how to evaluate issuer credit quality
- Bond unit trusts and money market funds as retail access points
